CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

  • Creative Movement: 2 1/2-4 years of age

    Creative Movement shows young children with little or no previous experience the magical world of dance movement through the use of songs, games, fairy tales and their favorite props.  Along with creative dance activities students will get an introduction to the basics of ballet.  Fun and exploration highlights this 45 minute class, once a week. Children will perform in the end of year recital! 

  • Kinderdance: Ages 3-4

    This is an introduction class for our youngest dancers! This one hour class consists of a ½ hour of ballet and a ½ hour of tap. Children will have fun and gain a fondness for dance, while learning basic ballet positions and tap steps. Children will perform one of the two subjects in the recital!

  • Combo: Ages 5-6

    This class is designed for children with little or no previous dance experience. This one hour class will be a combination of a ½ hr. ballet and ½ hr. tap or ½ hr. ballet and a ½ hr. jazz.  These classes will teach the student coordination skills, musicality, basic terminology, and the proper use of muscle development. Children will gain self-expression and confidence while preparing themselves for the next level of dance. 

  • Ballet

    Ballet is the foundation of all dance styles and a beautiful way to build strength, grace, discipline, and technique. In this class, dancers will learn proper ballet terminology, posture, flexibility, balance, and movement through age-appropriate exercises and combinations. Our supportive environment encourages dancers of all abilities to grow in confidence while developing a strong technical foundation.

  • Tap

    (Ages 7-10) This upbeat and energetic class introduces dancers to foundational tap technique while building rhythm, coordination, timing, and musicality. Dancers will learn fun combinations, basic tap vocabulary, and exciting choreography in a positive and encouraging environment. Perfect for dancers who love to make music with their feet while building confidence and performance skills!


    (Ages 9+) Designed for dancers ready to grow their technique and performance quality, this high-energy tap class focuses on rhythm, precision, speed, musicality, and style. Dancers will explore more complex footwork and dynamic choreography while building confidence, coordination, and stage presence. This class is perfect for dancers who love fast-paced movement, strong rhythms, and energetic performances!

  • Jazz

    Get ready to move, groove, and shine! Our Jazz classes are packed with high-energy movement, upbeat music, and exciting choreography that builds confidence and performance skills. Dancers will improve technique, flexibility, coordination, and stage presence while learning fun combinations inspired by today’s music and styles. Perfect for dancers of all experience levels who love to perform and express themselves through movement!

  • Hip Hop

    (Ages 5-6) will jump, bounce, and groove their way through this fun and energetic class! Dancers will learn basic hip hop movements, rhythm, coordination, and musicality through age-appropriate choreography and games. This class builds confidence, listening skills, and creativity in a positive and encouraging environment designed just for little movers.


    (Ages 6-8) Get ready to bring the energy! This upbeat hip hop class introduces dancers to foundational hip hop technique, musicality, freestyle, and fun choreography set to kid-friendly music. Dancers will build confidence, coordination, and performance skills while developing their own style in a supportive and high-energy atmosphere perfect for all experience levels.


    (Ages 7-9) focus on building strong hip hop fundamentals while encouraging individuality and confidence. Dancers will learn age-appropriate choreography inspired by today’s trends and commercial dance styles while improving rhythm, strength, coordination, and stage presence. A perfect class for dancers who love to move, perform, and have fun!


    (Ages 9-11) Designed for dancers ready to level up, this class combines technique, style, performance quality, and dynamic choreography in an exciting and motivating environment. Dancers will explore musicality, freestyle, athletic movement, and current hip hop styles while building confidence, versatility, and teamwork. Great for both beginner and experienced dancers looking to grow and perform with energy and attitude.


    (Ages 10+) This fast-paced and empowering hip hop class challenges dancers to build technique, confidence, performance quality, and personal style through exciting choreography and cutting-edge movement. Classes focus on musicality, precision, strength, freestyle, and performance skills in a supportive environment that encourages creativity and self-expression. Perfect for dancers who love high-energy movement and want to push themselves while having fun!

  • Lyrical

    Lyrical dance combines the technique of ballet and jazz with emotional expression and storytelling through movement. Dancers will explore fluid motion, musicality, flexibility, and performance quality while learning expressive choreography set to inspiring music. This class encourages creativity, confidence, and connection, making it perfect for dancers who love to move with emotion and heart.

  • Contemporary

    Contemporary dance encourages dancers to explore movement in new and exciting ways! This class blends elements of jazz, ballet, and modern dance while focusing on musicality, technique, strength, and self-expression. Dancers will build versatility and confidence in a supportive environment that celebrates individuality and creativity at every level.

  • Dance Team Fusion

    This high-energy and full of spirit class is designed to introduce dancers to basic arm positions and focus on dance team technique while also incorporating stylized jazz into one action-packed class! Dancers will build strength, coordination, sharp motions, performance skills, and confidence while learning dynamic routines set to upbeat music. With a focus on teamwork, style, and stage presence, this class is perfect for dancers who love powerful movement, big energy, and performing with confidence — no matter their experience level!

  • Musical Theatre

    Lights, camera, action! Our Musical Theatre classes bring together dance, acting, and performance in a fun and encouraging environment. Dancers will learn Broadway-inspired choreography while developing storytelling skills, stage presence, facial expressions, and confidence. Perfect for kids who love to perform, be creative, and let their personalities shine both on and off the stage!

  • Acro

    Acro is a form of gymnastics performed without props or equipment. Also referred to as floor 

    gymnastics, common moves performed in this tumbling class include, bridges, handstands, 

    cartwheels, rolls, flips, somersaults, tucks, handstands and handsprings.  This class does not perform in the recital. 

  • Pointe: Ages 12-18

    Pointe class concentrates on the transference of ballet steps from demi-pointe to pointe and is introduced only when a dancer has developed sufficient strength in the feet and legs necessary for this discipline. Dancers are required to take 2+ ballet classes a week,  Evaluation or invitation required.
